Just and inclusive low-carbon energy system in ASEAN

Such an honor for our CEO to have participated at ASEAN Centre for Energy Policy Dialogue on Low Carbon Energy Systems last year in Kuala Lumpur.

In the spirit of the new year🥳 and reminiscing back to things that mattered most to me and to our team at MOYA, this event was one of our pivotal step in committing to energy transition and how itrequires balancing climate action with social equity and energy security.⚡

Organized by ACE through the ASEAN Climate Change and Energy Project, the event was hosted by the Ministry of Energy Transition and Water Transformation (PETRA) Malaysia.

Indeed, the policy dialogue made us revisit the common understanding of what a “just and inclusive” low-carbon energy system means in the ASEAN context. Aligned with our MOYA Spirit, this journey signified how ASEAN can align its energy policies with global climate commitments while ensuring that no one is left behind, especially vulnerable communities and underrepresented groups.
