Last March, our CEO had the privilege of participating in the IAEA Technical Meeting on Modelling the Contribution of Nuclear Power to Clean and Secure Transitions, held at the IAEA headquarters in Vienna🌏
Over five days, experts from 31 countries gathered to share how nuclear energy can contribute to building cleaner, more resilient energy systems, both nationally and globally. We shared MOYA’s experience adapting national-scale energy system models for private sector use, and we learned a great deal from the breadth of case studies and modelling approaches presented.
The depth of dialogue around cost-effective decarbonization, reliability, and energy security left a strong impression on us. Nuclear may not be the right solution for every country or region, but it is essential that it’s considered seriously, through the lens of data, systems, and policy.⭐
What struck us most was the spirit of collaboration.🙌🏻 Conversations transcended regions and sectors, and there was a shared sense that modelling, when done well, can guide practical, scalable action.
🌍 Global sustainability challenges cannot be solved in isolation. We are proud to have contributed to this conversation, grateful to the IAEA, and excited for more space to share, connect, and grow together.
Thanks for reading.
